Now, on the 27th of April 2023, the application form for the CTET examination which is going to be held in July has been released and now eligible students can submit their application form.

Exam Date
The exact date of the examination is not cleared yet but CBSE notifies that the examination will be held in Mid-July and Starting in August. Candidates will get their admit card 10 days before the examination and they’ll get a notification regarding the examination timing and exam center address. Aspirants will have to reach the center 1 hour before the reporting time. No further details released by CBSE in this context.
CTET-1 and CTET-2
The examination of CTET is divided into 2 papers, CTET-Paper 1 and CTET-Paper 2, both the examinations get done on the same day. The Timing of the first (CTET-Paper 1) is around 9:30 AM which goes till noon and students will be allowed 2½ hours to attempt the first examination. CTET Paper-2 starts around 2:30 PM this means that candidates will get 2.5 hours of break after the first paper. The 2nd paper ends at 5:00 PM and candidates will get 2½ hours to complete the examination.

Q. What is the Expected Cutoff of CTET 2023?
Every year lots of new students and lots of repeaters attempt this examination, making the competition tougher. If we examine the data from previous years, the Cutoff reaches to 90 marks for Unreserved category and 82.5 marks for OBC/SC / ST candidates. This year there are higher chances that the cutoff for the unreserved category will be 93+ and for OBC/SC / ST it will be 85 marks. It is just an assumption based on previous records.
Q. What is the eligibility for CTET 2023?
For Paper I (Classes I to V): Aspirants must have completed their 10+2 with minimum 45% marks and have completed a 2-year diploma in elementary education or have done a bachelor’s degree of 4 years with minimum 50% marks or have done any elementary education.
For Paper II (Classes VI to VIII): Aspirantshave completed Graduation with 50% minimum marks with a Bachelor of Education and completed a 4-year bachelor of elementary.
