Computer Based test
CBT test in SSC MTS attains total marks of 100 which can be given in 2 different languages Hindi or English. Candidates will have to attempt the paper in 90 minutes. Questions asked in this paper are from 4 different subjects which are

- General English,
- And Numerical Aptitude.
Paper II (Written examination)
In this examination, candidates will have to write a short essay/letter for which 30 minutes were allowed to them.
After performing both examinations, a combined cutoff is derived and candidates who score more marks then cut off get a call for Document verification.
